Following the international friendlies between Austria and Slovenia as part of the AMNT launch in November 2023 and April 2024, as well as the AMNT 4 NATIONS CUP in October 2025, an initiative was launched to attract more nations to the Amateur National Teams format. The response from players, coaches, clubs, media, and sponsors has been overwhelmingly positive, and discussions are underway regarding an international expansion of the format with four to six additional participating nations. Until the late 1970s and early 1980s, many National Football Associations specially in Europe had a SENIOR AMATEUR NATIONAL TEAM or B-NATIONAL TEAM in addition to the SENIOR A-NATIONAL TEAM. Reason for us to create a Renaissance and Rebirth AMATEUR NATIONAL TEAMS FORMAT after more then 45 years and to re-establish them through International Matches and Tournaments with International participating Nations from all Confederations.
